Agnieszka Olszanecka, MD, PhD
works as the senior assistant of medicine at the First Department of Cardiology, Interventional Electrocardiology and Hypertension, Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland. She is certified specialist in internal medicine, cardiology and arterial hypertension as well as specialist in Clinical Hypertension of the European Society of Hypertension. She is the president of the Krakow Branch of the Polish Society of Hypertension.
Author and co-author of numerous scientific publication, with main scientific interest in hereditary of arterial hypertension (team member of the European Project on Genes in Hypertension), cardiovascular diseases in women (co-author of the cycle of publications on the pathophysiology of hypertension and subclinical organ damage in perimenopausal women and influence of hormone replacement therapy on blood pressure, arterial compliance, endothelial function and quality of life), renal denervation in resistant hypertension, left ventricular structure and arterial-ventricular coupling in hypertension.
