Basil S. Lewis, MD, FRCP, FESC, FACC Professor of Medicine and Medical Research Lady Davis Carmel Medical Center The Ruth and Bruce Rappaport School of Medicine of the Technion Haifa, Israel Professor Basil S. Lewis is Director of the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Institute at the Lady Davis Carmel Medical Center in Haifa, Israel, and a Professor of Medicine at the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport School of Medicine of the Technion, Haifa. Professor Lewis is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa (MB, BCh; D Med Sci) and undertook postgraduate training in Los Angeles, California. He was a tenured Professor of Medicine at UCLA. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the European Society of Cardiology. Professor Lewis is a Past-President of the Israel Heart Society and Governor of the ACC chapter in Israel. He is presently Chairman-Elect of the ESC Working Group for Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy. Professor Lewis has edited/co-edited nine books and is an author/co-author of more than 400 professional publications. He is an Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal: Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy and of Cardiology, serves on the editorial board of Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Failure Reviews and is a regular reviewer for a number of other leading journals

Hypertension, Metabolic Disorders and Cardiovascular Disease (PreHT2020)
to a later date.
The conference will remain in Vilnius.
